(Senior) Manager – Finance & Accounting Advisory, US GAAP
Our client is a growing finance and accounting advisory firm, part of an international group, that supports listed, private-equity-backed and venture-funded companies across the whole CFO agenda. As a US GAAP specialist, you'll lead reporting, conversion and transaction projects for companies in Europe and the US.
What you'll do
- Act as subject-matter expert on US GAAP reporting and US-related transactions
- Lead projects converting clients' accounting to US GAAP
- Support transactions and IPOs in Europe and the US
- Advise leading start-ups across the whole finance roadmap
- Develop accounting solutions for M&A deals, IPOs, carve-outs and pro-forma financial information
- Manage projects and delivery, and act as a direct client contact alongside a director or partner
- Lead junior colleagues and support business development
What you'll bring
- Master's degree and at least five years in audit, consulting or industry
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS is a plus
- Able to run projects independently and coach less experienced colleagues
- A team player committed to clients
- Confident with technical finance and accounting work, and with client communication in German and English
